A quick note before I lose the thought …
I feel privileged to be in this class and to be on these trips. There are moments when you know that you are witnessing history. Sometimes it’s obvious, because everyone around you is watching – the OJ verdict, 9/11, Election Night 2008 –– or it’s a personal history you know you’ll never forget, a birth, a marriage, a death. But sometimes the moments are a little more quiet, a sense of a time, a place and people. For me, there have been many moments like those on these trips. I trust I’m not alone.
