Early in the Spring 2012 semester we agreed to come to Baraboo to present about our project to the children and the young adults on two separate days.
We went to Baraboo on May 14 to present to the children. The children were full of so much energy and we very responsive to the labels we put on the books. They had many questions for us and afterwards we felt that they had ideas about what we are trying to accomplish in Baraboo.
After the first presentation, we brought back several boxes from Baraboo again and on May 16 we labeled all of the boxes. The second labeling session went a lot smoother than the last and was very productive.
The next day on May 17 we went to Baraboo to return the books we labeled and present to the young adults. Just as the children, the young adults were full of energy and very eager to label some books. After the presentation, the young adults painted the new bookshelves for the center. They were really anxious to do some painting.
Overall, the presentations and labeling went well. Stay tuned for the next labeling party.
